Antique porcelain china plate with handpainted Robin Hood children in a forest scene.  This is just beautiful with very ornate deep scalloped edges and beautiful colors.  A young maiden sits on the ground under a large brown tree.  Her dress is purple, white, gold and wine colored with blue hat and socks.  She has blonde curly long hair.  The middle child is holding a spear and something white in his hand, I am not sure what it is.  Long curly blonde hair, green and brownish gold tunic with blue long sleeves, hat and tights.  Golden brown boots.  The third is a little boy with brown hair and dressed in a brown tunic and tights outfit that looks just like Robin Hood.  Feathered cap and boots.  Lots of greenery in the forest and gold detailing all around the edges of the plate.  Very minor paint wear mostly on the gold.  Measures 8 inches across and up and down.  Very French cottage shabby chic.  Perfect to display on a plate hanger or easel.
